Dolphin produces a wide range of water and fluid coils tailored for HVAC & R systems and demanding industrial applications. Our engineering team custom-designs coils to handle diverse fluids including refrigerants, thermal oils, antifreeze, and specialized process media ensuring compatibility with each customer’s specific operating conditions. In close collaboration with our customers, we evaluate the operational and environmental requirements of each application to select the most appropriate material technology and surface treatment solution. Our material portfolio includes aluminum alloys, copper and copper-nickel (CuNi) alloys, and a variety of brass grades each chosen based on their thermal, corrosion, and mechanical performance characteristics.

Coil design selection is guided by advanced modeling using an AHRI-certified (Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute) software platform. This enables us to optimize performance parameters such as heat transfer efficiency, pressure drop, and dimensional constraints, ensuring each solution delivers high performance and cost efficiency. With access to a broad range of tube diameters, fin geometries, and circuiting options, we can engineer coils either for maximum thermal performance or as direct-fit replacements for existing systems, all without compromising structural integrity or system compatibility.
